Yves Riopel and his wife Ruth started development of Edgewater homes in 1988. Yves is a graduate of UW Madison, WI. He has spent many years in the manufactured housing industry. He also has built many homes in the area. His wife Ruth is a nurse and has spent many years in the healthcare industry.

They have 2 girls. Amber lives in Minneapolis and works for Target Corporation as a Group Manager in the construction dept. She is married and they have what the owners consider to be the latest and greatest joy in the world….yep you guessed it, a grandchild! Rachael is a family practice doctor with an emphasis on alternative and healthy lifestyles. She lives in Montana. For this family, family is a BIG deal!

Yves and Ruth designed and developed the park. Currently there are 70 single family detached homes. The majority have double car garages and attached porches, decks and other additions like secret workshops! Many have classified Edgewater as a premier park, this is simply because the people make this community an amazing place to be…and we as the owners are the lucky ones. They have created the beauty and reputation that speaks for itself. Residents are happy and often only move when health reasons or a need to be closer to family develop. The Riopel’s liken the lifestyle here as living in the country without leaving the amenities the town provides. It is truly a vacation / retirement setting.
